I’m a Canadian mom of two, and a lover of all things travel, dance, and reality TV. My journey into women’s health began over 15 years ago, driven by a deep desire to create lasting change and a passion for personal development and spiritual fitness.

For a long time, I felt we were failing women by offering a singular path to health transformation. Despite my efforts in one-on-one care, I was disheartened by the lack of truly transformational results. Women are inherently collaborative, thriving in supportive, like-minded communities that cheer them on through their struggles. They crave quality information and a deep understanding of how their bodies function and thrive. This realization led me to blend the worlds of group health and individual care, and the results were nothing short of extraordinary. 

I have witnessed hundreds of women reclaim their innate wisdom and power, becoming forces for good in the world. Every time I sit in a wild circle, I become more convinced that this is how we will transform women’s health and the world we live in. The ripple effect extends far beyond exceptional healthcare, though that is incredible too.

Growing up, I struggled with healthy sisterhood. My early years were marked by observing and contributing to destructive, catty, and unproductive connections. These experiences made it tough to foster the collaborative relationships I yearned for. But everything changed when I found myself in naturopathic medical school. There, I discovered my people. The more I embraced my true, weird, honest self, the more they loved, rooted for, and supported me. It was like jet fuel for the soul, and I vowed never to forget that feeling. Genuine human connection made me believe that anything was possible. I knew then that I wanted to help other women tap into this power and potential.

Now, I dedicate my life to helping women reclaim their divine feminine power through gathering in wild circles. These gatherings offer a necessary pause in our busy lives, allowing us to explore the incredible power of the female body, physiology, and the intricate orchestra of hormonal events that either help us thrive or deplete us. This knowledge not only informs better conversations with healthcare providers but also empowers women to trust their intuition and make more aligned decisions. When a woman trusts herself, it benefits everyone around her—her partner, children, family, and friends. The world desperately needs women who are calm, confident, and brave, and The Wild Collective unlocks this potential for any woman willing to trust the process and show up with a curious mind and wild heart.

Through The Wild Collective, I have helped women regain confidence in their intuition and reclaim healthy female friendships that uplift and elevate their lived experiences. These women learn to live lives aligned with their true desires, granting themselves permission to slow down, examine their vocations, and ensure their lives make them genuinely happy. They not only elevate their health and personal satisfaction but also begin to bravely take up more space, living lives that make them feel alive and content. My name is Dr. Tara. I'm a Naturopathic Doctor, Holistic Nutritionist, and hold a certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

In my clinical practice, I focus on two areas of special interest: mental health concerns and tween and teen health. Along with my certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University’s School of Social Work, I completed additional clinical training in mental health during my final year of naturopathic medical school. This provided me with ample experience in treating a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PMS, and insomnia.

My passion for tween and teen health led me to co-found All About Mental Empowerment while pursuing my doctorate degree. Our company has collaborated with over 70 schools across 6 school boards, supporting the mental health of tens of thousands of students yearly through our interactive, action-based mental health workshops. I'm also the content creator and facilitator of the Empowered Tween program, a comprehensive 6-module program designed to strengthen the relationship between moms and their tween daughters as they navigate puberty. I run this program at The Poppy Clinic a few times per year.

During my tween and teen years, I struggled with severe eczema that covered both of my hands, anxiety, crippling perfectionism, debilitating menstrual cramps, and a disordered relationship with food. Throughout those challenging years, I wished for more support. As a Naturopathic Doctor, my goal is to provide a space for your tween or teen to receive the medical information and integrative health care they deserve.

Sessions will be recorded for your group, for you to watch sessions you have to miss. All powerpoint presentations, session recordings and handouts will be uploaded into your FB group.  

Is this program for
extroverts & introverts?
Great question! We have designed this program to meet the needs of all connection styles. We have moments & events that energize the extroverts and we have events that support and nourish the needs of the introverts. Its win/win.


What if I don’t
want to share?
There is no pressure to share at all. Although we have yet to meet a woman who didn’t love sharing… (true story) We promise to foster a safe space, but you don't have to share at all! Get ready to fill your cup and feel energized by the Wild Collective connection experience. 

Does this program mean I have a doctor and patient relationship?
The Wild Collective (TWC), is a community education course for women. There are no treatment recommendations, no supplement prescription, no assessment included in the programming. We inform you on general health information so that you are able to have informed discussions with your clinician/ health care provider during a scheduled appointment. The Wild Collective clearly demonstrates being a general health information program and where to go if you are looking for individualized care. Is this targeted to a specific age group or health condition for women?
Quick answer: No! Absolutely not.
We crave to have a diverse Collective of women, different ages, life experiences we all have something to offer and we all can learn and benefit from the collective experience. We are in love with celebrating women at every age. Historically women hung out together in a Collective, we are just kicking it old school. Once you experience the magic, you’ll wonder why we ever stopped.
Is the community & connection as powerful as a virtual experience as it is as a in person experience?
We have been privileged enough to host The Wild Collective sessions virtually and in person and there has been no compromise with regards to the connection amongst the wild women. Time for a little heart to heart

If you have been in my world, even for just a little while, you might have gathered I am quite the cheerleader and eternal optimist...  and it is true I am. 

But I think making meaningful change in your health, daily fulfillment and life are going to require that I am direct and straightforward for a minute.

And right now if you are reading this wondering if you can *actually* pull this off-- if you can actually achieve results like so many other women, feel more confident, increase in energy and vibrancy and have more joy in your life...

You are not alone. 

I know because it used to be me. 

If you had told me 10 years ago that this is how I’d be spending my time as an ND—sitting in circles, witnessing the incredible transformations of the women I serve—I would have cried on the spot. 

Watching women start businesses, strengthen relationships (yes, even with their mother-in-laws), create their own communities, become calmer, more present mothers, reclaim their energy, and make bold moves like relocating across the country for their happiness… it’s beyond words. These women tell me they’re not struggling to keep commitments anymore, they actually like themselves. It’s pure magic to witness. 

Looking back at how I used to spend my time, I’d burn myself out in 1-on-1 conversations with women, hoping they were learning everything they needed to truly move the needle in their health. But there just wasn’t enough time. I listened to these incredibly successful women I deeply cared for share how unsupported or overstretched they felt with all the nutrition info, or how much they had achieved but still felt empty, numb, or unhappy. They’d open up about how they wanted to feel, what they envisioned for their health and life, but ultimately, they’d sacrifice themselves to make their lives work. And I couldn't judge them—I was doing the same thing. I’m not proud, but it's the truth. When I first offered The Wild Collective, I was nervous too, and I didn’t think I could afford the time either.

But how could I afford not to, this was not working... and I bet it's not working for you either. 

Here’s the thing—these women are incredible, but they’re not unicorns. They’re everyday women who refuse to settle for the burnout and overwhelm they found themselves in.

You CAN do this. 


Do things that bring you joy, knowing that your needs are a priority—and when you take care of yourself, everyone around you benefits.

The one where you can have tough conversations, set healthy boundaries, and unplug without guilt—because your peace matters, and you’re learning to protect it.

Laugh until you snort, because you’re starting to realize just how much your joy and pleasure truly matter. You begin to see that laughter and deep, meaningful connections are the medicine you’ve been needing.

That life IS possible.

The one where reclaiming your health, energy, and power starts to feel a whole lot easier.

The one where you FREAKING love your life and find yourself having so much fun in all that you do. 

And it is closer than you think. 

I mean that from the bottom of my heart.  I really do believe in you.
